How long does it take to build a new home?

It typically takes 6-8 months to build your home once we have begun construction. However, it takes some additional time to do all of your initial paperwork and select your colors & options before we begin construction. As a result, we recommend that you plan on at least 8-10 months before expecting to move in.

What are your commission rates for selling a property?

Our commission rates vary depending on the type and value of the property, but we always strive to offer competitive rates. We also pay commission on our properties as well so we welcome Realtors.

Do you offer virtual property tours?

Our virtual tours are 3D tours and are available in the menu at the top of our site in our 3D Virtual Tours tab.

What is your experience in the Real Estate industry?

We’ve been building homes in central Florida for 17 years. We are also licensed realtors so we can handle your property and/or lot search so we can keep everything in house making it easier for you.

Do your homes come with a warranty?

Yes, every new home comes with a 1 year warranty on materials, a 2 year warranty on workmanship, and a 10 year structural warranty.

Are your homes energy efficient?

Our homes come with Low-E insulated vinyl windows, energy star appliances, programmable thermostats, and a minimum of a 16 SEER HVAC system.

What's the first step if I want to build a home?

The first step is getting pre-qualified from a lender that understands the process of construction loans and offer a variety of packages tailored to your financial background. If you don't have a lender, we have several preferred lenders that we can recommend.

Do you offer financing?

We have lenders that we work with that we can recommend for both traditional mortgages and construction loans.

How often will you provide updates on the project’s progress?

Clients will be given access to our scheduling software called Buildertrend. This will allow clients to see exactly where the build timeline is in real time as it's updated.

Who will be our primary point of contact throughout the build, and how often will we communicate?

We will be your primary contact throughout the process. We typically communicate bi-weekly or as often as necessary which may vary based on the phase of construction. Clients will always have up to date access to our Buildertrend software which shows which phase of construction we're in.

How do you handle questions or concerns during the build?

Most questions are answered and handled before construction even begins. This is part of the level of service that we offer. However, questions and concerns may come up during the build and we're here to answer those promptly.

Can we visit the site during construction to monitor progress?

Yes, we will coordinate with you to arrange on-site visits throughout construction. However, we can't allow unaccompanied visits during construction as this can be a safety hazard and a liability.

Will you handle all necessary permits and approvals, or are there steps we need to take?

We will handle all permits and approvals. You will not have to take on any part of this process as this is what is included in the cost of building.

What energy-efficient options do you offer, and how much do they add to the cost?

Please see video tours we have on our home page. Under the Floor Plan tab, you'll be able to see pictures of homes that we have completed. We don't currently have any model homes for tour but have 3D virtual tours available.
